TKL members attend the 2023 Annual Biomedical Research Conference for Minority Scientists (ABRCMS).

TKL is awarded Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation Grand Challenges funding.
The lab will collaborate with the Myhrvold Lab (Princeton University) to develop CRISPR-based assays to rapidly detect multiple drug resistance mutations in Plasmodium falciparum and Mycobacterium tuberculosis for malaria and tuberculosis (TB) surveillance, respectively.
TKL Summer Outing to the Escape Room L.A.
The TKL team went on an exciting adventure at the Escape Room L.A. this July. The mission was to navigate through a series of challenging puzzles and immersive environments, and luckily everyone escaped in time!
